Improving User Experience on Your Website:
Why Ignoring Your Website Users Could Be Costing Your Business
This month at our Durham meeting we welcome Helena Borthwick-Hill with a topic that none of us can afford to miss!
Does your website look nice?
Does it have a contact form?
Does it convert enough visitors into paying customers?
If not, then this month’s meeting is for you.
Whether you already have a website, are looking to upgrade or are starting a new business this talk is for you. Whichever industry you’re in, it’s increasingly difficult to set yourself and your business apart from the competition. Let’s face it, most businesses have websites – it’s their online sales pitch, a place to convert interested visitors into customers, members or subscribers.
So, how can you, as a business owner, leverage your website to increase conversions, get more leads and increase revenue?
During this talk we are going to identify potential obstacles that may prevent your website visitors from buying a product, picking up the phone or signing up and discuss actionable changes that can be made to your website to help you make more from it.
We’ll be looking at examples of the good, bad and the ugly and in particular calls to action, navigation, user flow, information architecture, contact forms, checkouts and more.
Don’t let bad website design cost your business!
Helena Borthwick-Hill is a Senior UX Consultant and Director of 49 Digital.
The meeting is £2 for members of the Inspire Network and £3 for non-members.
Children are welcome. Please bring something to keep them entertained. We look forward to seeing you on Friday 17th November 2017!
