Website launch EEEEEK!
Seeing as it's the night before we launch our new website and I'm likely to be up until gone 3am (as I have for the last two nights), I thought it would be nice to take a moment to stop designing on Canva and introduce myself!
Hi, I'm Nikki! CEO of The Inspire Network since the beginning of April 2020, I've been linked to the network for around 18 months. I am honestly so absolutely passionate about helping people to succeed in their goals to change their lives and those of their family. I'm a huge believer in the idea that business owners leave more than just a financial legacy for the future. Watching my dad run his own architectural firm as a child, I was always in awe of the way he was able to be the boss! Often accused by my siblings of being a "bossy boots", I suppose I showed leadership qualities from an early age, just like him!
And here I am, approaching half-way to 70, and I find myself the CEO of a women's network with ELEVEN THOUSAND WOMEN to take care of. I love the power of community, and with several years of running a network that I built from scratch, when I heard it needed a new owner, I looked into its history properly. And WOW! What a story. The story of the original founder of the Network is very similar to my own in terms of how we both found ourselves leading large communities. Both business-women before networking, we recognised the need to build relationships, but doing so as mums to young children was difficult.
That's why the first thing I've done since coming into The Inspire Network is to plan virtual networking events. Ideal for those of us with children, disabilities or responsibilities which make it hard for us to get out and about to network. Also great for those who are introverts, get anxious in a crowd, or who just are pressured for time (which is all of us, as business-women, right? Or is it just me?!).
We will be re-vamping and re-launching our offline networking events, just as soon as Coronavirus lockdown is over, and we're planning a big party at the end of the year to celebrate TEN YEARS of Inspire, as well as to say thank-you to the amazing ladies in our community for their participation and 'inspirational' enthusiasm!
We have some really excited plans for the second half of 2020 that we hope will suit those with more business experience and those who have a desire to learn as well as network. We're committed to seeing our members thrive and are determined to deliver our services at an affordable price point to ensure nobody needs to miss out!
