An Elevator Pitch is a great tool that keeps you ready for whenever an opportunity arises. It’s name, often credited to Ilene Rosenzweig and Michael Caruso, is derived from the idea of bumping into a senior staff member in an elevator and having to try and win them over by the time they’ve reached their floor. Thus Elevator Pitches tend to last between 30 to 90 seconds, and, when successful, ends with an exchange of contact information and a continuation of the discussion.
It can take some time to get your pitch right. You’ll likely go through several versions before finding the right and that sounds natural in conversation so at this month’s meeting we’ll be walking you through some steps to create a compelling and great pitch. Please bring some paper or a note book and pen with you.
A cup of tea or coffee will be included in the price.
